The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Operational Pension Administrator to join a well-established and growing financial services organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with SIPP and/or SSAS administration experience who is looking to build their career within a professional and regulated environment. The role offers a varied workload, combining operational administration, adviser support, workflow management, complaint handling and process improvement activities.
You'll play a key role in ensuring pension administration activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements, helping to deliver positive outcomes for both advisers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing operational changes across pension schemes and maintaining accurate records
- Administering Terms of Business (TOB) agreements and adviser changes
- Supporting complaint handling processes, investigations and regulatory deadlines
- Managing operational workflows, work queues and shared mailboxes
- Monitoring outstanding cases and escalating risks or issues where required
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance across all activities
- Supporting quality assurance, audit and compliance processes
- Responding to adviser, client and internal stakeholder queries
- Contributing to operational improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience within pensions administration, SIPP, SSAS or financial services operations
- A strong understanding of working within a regulated environment
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
Experience with complaints administration, Consumer Duty, FCA regulatory requirements or adviser relationship management would be advantageous.
