HR Administrator

Merseyside (hybrid)
Location: North West England
Full Time - 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £25,409.80 per annum


I am are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an organised and professional HR Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within HR, supporting a busy team with a broad range of employee administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, databases and electronic personnel files.
  • Process new starter, leaver and internal mover administration efficiently and accurately.
  • Create and maintain employee files, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Support onboarding processes and monitor probation periods.
  • Update and maintain HR Information Systems.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc management reports.
  • Provide administrative support across the HR function.
  • Assist with sickness absence administration and reporting.
  • Ensure employee records comply with data protection and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate notes when required.
  • Respond to employee queries in a professional and confidential manner.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Experience dealing with employee or customer queries.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within an HR or office administration environment.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, HR or a related discipline.
