The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small but energetic finance team. This is a varied role offering excellent exposure across multiple areas of finance, working closely alongside the Finance Director and gaining valuable hands-on experience. The culture is one that is supportive and really pushes your development.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices

• Assisting with bank reconciliations

• Supporting month-end processes

• Maintaining accurate financial records

• Assisting with credit control and supplier payments

• Handling queries from internal and external stakeholders

• Providing general support to the finance team as required

About You

• Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good working knowledge of Excel

• A proactive and positive attitude

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Studying towards, or interested in studying towards, an accounting qualification (AAT ideal)
