At Adaptable Recruitment we have a temporary opportunity for a Part-Time Receptionist to join a family-owned, award-winning company in the Liverpool area.

Salary £26,000 pro rata
2 Weeks - Could be extended
Working hours 10-3

Key Responsibilities


  • Act as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and handling enquiries professionally.

  • Manage UK and international calls via the switchboard.

  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.

  • Coordinate meeting rooms, appointments, refreshments, catering, and couriers.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Provide general administrative support, including updating documents and spreadsheets.

  • Support the business with ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Key Requirements


  • Previous experience in a front-facing receptionist role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and administrative skills.

  • Experience managing a switchboard.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail.

  • Positive, friendly, and professional approach.
